WEATHER THE STORM
In biking riding and in work, there are times when you have to ask yourself if you want to - and are willing to - weather the storm.
Today, in the land of bikes, it was a windstorm. I hate riding in the wind. It feels like mother nature is fighting me. I know. Dramatic. But that's where my brain goes when I'm out there pedaling uphill into gusting winds. đ¤ˇââď¸
We were driving toward the trailhead, and I said, woah - if it's too windy I may want to hide in the car. As usual, I didn't want to get left behind though so off I went. Glad I did because look at the happiness I experienced on our ride! đđ
In work, we all weather gusting windstorms. Like on today's ride, many of the work windstorms can be taken on and many of them will have goodness during the struggle and on the other side.
Don't get me wrong though. Some of the storms aren't worth the mental and physical hit. That said, when they are it makes you smiles inside out - off and on the bike.
Moral of the Story đ Pick your storms. Just be sure to choose wisely.
